Everybody wants to know the cheat code.
There isn’t one.
The cheat code is doing the hard stuff when you don’t feel like it. Showing up when you’re tired. Staying disciplined when motivation is gone. Being consistent when nobody’s watching.
That’s the difference.

I’ll be honest; I hate losing. Always have. But today reminded me that learning how to lose with character is just as important as learning how to win with humility.

Our kids are always watching. They’re watching how we react when things don’t go our way, how we treat our teammates, and whether we keep showing up when things get tough.

Adversity builds character. Sometimes the biggest lessons don’t come from bringing home a trophy; they come from getting knocked down, getting back up, and deciding to work even harder.

Proud of this team for battling through all three games. We’ll learn from it, keep our heads up, and come back better. That’s what growth looks like. 💪⚽

Gave my old soccer coach a little plumbing tech support while he was replacing a water closet. He wasn’t sure he wanted to tackle it himself, but I told him, “You got this.” I mean, after all the cars you’ve worked on, a toilet should be easy! 😂

Sure enough, with a little time, patience, and some elbow grease, he got it working. And it took a whole lot less than the 27 shims 😂💪
