Inspired by Dave Hakken's idea of preciousplastic.com,
we - Precious Plastic Bali - are focused on research and development of small-scale plastic recycling machines. We started to build these machines:
* The Shredder
* The Extrusion

With this setup and a cooperation with Trash Hero we want to close a loop and be a role model for others to follow:
The collected rubbish gets separated, cleaned an

d shredded into flakes. These flakes will then be extruded to a thread of plastic which finally can be used as filament for 3D-printing. Our goals for the future:

***build the other two machines designed by Dave Hakkens (Injection & Compression)

***cooperate with Azura Marine and run all machines by solar power

***improve the existing machines and develop others

Our main goal is spreading the idea of plastic recycling and offering a way for EVERYBODY to start their own recycling / up-cycling program. Keep recycling and think twice before you buy the next product wrapped in plastic. The Precious Plastic Bali Team

The first prototype of the Injection Machine. :) A very big thanks to yayasan Kopernik for their support and funding for this machine. And also for Mrs.Nanis from kopernik for her cooperation to manage this project.😊 So that we could made and develope the machine in the future.

Next, we will get creative in designing molds and finally creating useful items of this precious material - plastic.
