Wicklow, Ireland. Our plant has been processing timber since 1974 and currently employs almost 50 people. Woodfab are well positioned adjacent to both port facilities and high density population regions which leaves us ideally located to service both the UK and Irish markets. The plant now produces a wide range of fencing and decking products for both the home and UK markets. Our main products inc
lude Timber Fencing and Landscaping products (including d-rail, sleepers, palisade fencing, cappings, weaves, arris/cant rail, feather edge boards, traditional decking with handrails and balustrades), shed materials, Post and Rail, Packaging Timber, Motorway Fencing, Agricultural Fencing, Acoustic Barriers and Biomass. All roadside post and rail fencing is manufactured to the IS 435 standard. We hold an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Integrated Prevention Pollution Control (IPPC) Licence enabling us to treat timber, in green or brown, for preservation. The treated timber we supply for end use is non-hazardous. We were also the first company in Ireland to be registered to the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) Quality Assurance Scheme on Farm Fencing to I.S. 436: 2007. In the past 5 years, we obtained ISO9001, ISO140001 and ISO450001 certification which confirms our commitment to quality, safety and the environment. A subsidiary company, Woodfab Structures Limited was formed in 2001 to manufacture a new range of fencing and acoustic barriers, all I.S. EN standards as specified by Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII).
