Air House Products Ltd. was founded in November 2013. The company's primary objective is to provide fresh air into homes/buildings efficiently and cost effectively. The purpose of this is to combat the growth of mould and mildew due to dampness and stale air within Private, Commercial and Institutional Buildings. These factors allow bacteria such as mould to thrive causing unsightly walls and ceil
ings and unhealthy air for breathing which in turn can lead to distressful living conditions. Our first product, ’The Nightingale Vent,’ is designed to provide fresh outdoor air into a building while also incorporating a heating factor using the pre-existing radiators within the Building. This is done by placing the nightingale vent above the radiator and conducting the heat through its chamber and allowing the hot air and fresh air to mix and distribute evenly across the room. The building is now fully supplied with fresh air and issues such as Security and Noise Pollution caused by leaving doors and windows open have now become a lesser concern. As a result of Independent testing of the product, we are satisfied that it is fit for purpose. The test results show that for an average heating season of 1138 hours, the running cost of The Nightingale Vent is less than € 2. Also, in a room of 4x3x2.4 metres or 28.8m3, the vent will facilitate a full air change in 1.92 hours. This will on a large scale make homes, schools, hospitals, nursing homes and offices a better and healthier place to live and work.
