A proud moment at Croke Park for Davies Group.

Winner of the AIBF All-Ireland Champion Enterprise of the Year 2026, this recognition reflects a team that has continued to adapt, grow and deliver in an industry shaped by constant change.

As Peter O’Brien Davies Group’s Managing Director put it:

“Our industry has seen a massive amount of change, and it’s a credit to all the staff that we’ve adapted to that and keep progressing every year. This award is a credit to them. They keep our customers happy, our supply chain happy, and it’s their hard work every day.”

A well-deserved achievement for the entire Davies Group team.

From a Tesco car park to a €5 million business.

Nadia Adan had the room hooked. 👀

She shared how she built her dealership through courage, social media and serious resilience.

Brian Lee brought the same energy, sharing the journey behind Freshly Chopped and TRYKA, and why business is about more than money.

It is about culture, connection and creating something people want to be part of.🤝

In conversation with Paul Allen, they reminded us that growth does not happen from the sidelines.

You have to show up.
You have to be seen.
And you cannot let fear have the final word.

Pressure looks different for everyone. 💥

For Michael Carruth, it was walking into an Olympic final with both hands broken and still believing:

“Today is my destiny. I’m going to shake up the world.”

For Conor Meyler, it was learning that fitness alone was not enough. He spoke about the power of breathwork, discipline, self-awareness and doing the simple things well.

In conversation with Bevin Mahon, they reminded us that staying in the game is not always about pushing harder.

Sometimes it starts with pausing, breathing, backing yourself and giving yourself a bit of credit along the way.

“Losers look for someone to blame. Winners look to themselves.”

Henry Shefflin brought the room right back to what high performance really takes.

It is not just talent or big moments.

It is the standards you set, the resilience to come back stronger, the way you communicate, and the work ethic to keep showing up.

He spoke about pressure, setbacks and leadership, but the message was simple.

Keep learning.
Keep evolving.
Never get too comfortable with where you are.

That is staying in the game.

Twelve followers. No investors. One slightly mad idea.

In 2019, Rory King started Rory’s Travel Club from New York with one page.

When he said he was taking on Booking.com, people told him:

“You’re nuts. Go back to bed.”

Today, Rory’s Travel Club has more than one million followers, thousands of five-star reviews, and a growing team across Ireland and the UK.

His message at the All-Ireland Entrepreneurs Summit was simple:

Start before you’re ready.
Show up.
Listen.
Add more value than people expect.

From 12 followers to more than a million.

That’s what staying in the game looks like.

“Everyone you know today was once a stranger.”

A powerful opening from Kingsley Aikins at the All-Ireland Entrepreneurs Summit 2026.

✔️ Success is hard work and luck.
✔️ Great success is a little more luck and a lot more people.
✔️ The strongest networks are built by giving, not getting.
✔️ Life is about connecting, collaborating and cooperating.

And perhaps the simplest lesson of all:

When Kingsley asked his mother what he should be when he grew up, her answer was:

“Be kind.”

A message worth remembering. 🍀

“Everyone you know today was once a stranger.”

Kingsley Aikins set the tone for the day with a thought-provoking session on the power of networks, relationships and human connection.

He reminded us that luck matters, but luck often comes through people.

The hidden cost of Covid wasn’t just economic. Many of our networks became smaller. We stopped reaching out. We lost touch with the wider circles where opportunities often live.

His challenge to the room was simple:

Be curious.
Be kind.
Listen more.
Reach out to strangers.
And stop thinking of networking as a transaction.

Because when people connect, collaborate and help one another, incredible things can happen.

A brilliant start to the 2026 All-Ireland Entrepreneurs Summit.
