Congratulations to Laura Cinnamond, who has been recognised as Apprentice of the Quarter for her hard work, dedication and commitment to maintaining high standards across her role, this was presented by Benny Carville site manager.

Laura has consistently demonstrated a positive attitude, a strong willingness to learn and a commitment to quality and safety, making her a valued member of the JMC team.

This recognition reflects the effort and professionalism Laura brings to her work every day and highlights the important contribution our apprentices make across the business.

Congratulations to Aaron Sloan and Darius Kazanavicius, who were recently recognised by our client Mercury for their outstanding performance on our Finland data centre project.

Both team members were acknowledged for consistently demonstrating high standards in safety and quality, reflecting the professionalism, commitment and attention to detail that are central to JMC.

The awards were presented by our Project Manager, Conor Magill, who praised the dedication and positive example both individuals continue to set on site.

At JMC Electrics, we specialise in delivering electrical installations for data centre projects across Europe. With a growing portfolio and strong pipeline of work, we are expanding our commercial team and looking for a talented Electrical Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join us.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞
This is a key position within the business, supporting project delivery from tender through to final account on major data centre projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring cost control, accuracy, and commercial success across multiple live and upcoming projects.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬

🔴 Prepare detailed electrical estimates and tenders for data centre projects
🔴 Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
🔴 Carry out accurate take-offs and cost planning
🔴 Source and negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors
🔴 Manage project budgets, valuations, and variations
🔴 Track costs and provide regular financial reporting
🔴 Identify commercial risks and opportunities
🔴 Work closely with project, engineering, and site teams across Europe

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐖𝐞’𝐫𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐨𝐫

⚪ Proven experience in electrical estimation and/or quantity surveying
⚪ Experience working on large-scale commercial or data centre projects (preferred)
⚪ Strong knowledge of electrical systems and installations
⚪ Excellent commercial awareness and cost management skills
⚪ Proficiency in Excel and estimating software
⚪ Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

JMC we’re delighted to have taken home top spot at the recent Kirby Way Golf Classic in Portumna GC ⛳

A fantastic day on the course, expertly hosted by Kirby Group Engineering thank you for the warm hospitality and for bringing together such a brilliant mix of partners and peers. Events like this are a great reminder that strong relationships are built both in and out of the office.

Huge credit to the JMC team for a superb performance, some impressive shots and steady nerves when it counted most!

Congratulations also to all the other teams who took part, and thanks again to Kirby Group for a memorable day.

Two members of our team were recently acknowledged by JMC Site Manager Benny Carvill for their high standards on site, particularly their excellent barrier set up and detailed paperwork.

Attention to detail, strong safety awareness and maintaining accurate documentation all play an important role in ensuring our projects are delivered safely and efficiently.

Well done to Stevie McShane and Joe McCartney for their continued hard work and commitment to maintaining the standards we pride ourselves on across JMC 👏

☕💛 This week, the JMC team took some time to come together for a coffee morning in the office to support Mental Health Awareness.

It was a great opportunity to catch up, take a moment away from the day-to-day, and recognise the importance of supporting mental health and wellbeing, both in and outside the workplace.

As part of this, JMC will also be making a donation to Pieta House to help support the vital work they continue to do for those in need ahead of their Darkness into Light event this weekend.

Last week, the JMC team laced up the boots and took to the pitch for the Powergate London Charity 5-a-Side Tournament 🙌

All for two fantastic causes, Mates in Mind 💙 and Ealing Foodbank 🧡

This brilliant event organised by Mace brought together great teams, great energy and even better craic!

Our lads showed some serious silky skills on the day ⚡⚽ making an impressive run all the way to the semi-finals 💪🔥

A top day and evening of football, teamwork and laughs.

A big congratulations to the winners Clipfine Ltd 🏆👏
