Meet Alin M., Operations Manager.
Alin has been working with us for over six years and his story is a perfect example of the growth and determination we value within our team.
Originally from Romania, Alin moved to Ireland nearly 20 years ago with very little English. After spending several years working in hospitality, he joined our team as an operative and within just a few months he started moving up through the ranks, advancing from supervisor to foreman, contracts manager, and most recently, operations manager.
His journey reflects a strong commitment to continuous development. Along the way, he has achieved a wide range of qualifications through our upskilling initiatives, including his C licence, high-speed traffic management tickets, management and training certifications, as well as various health and safety accreditations.
In his current role, Alin ensures that all projects are delivered to a high standard. He oversees both our road crews and logistics team, with a strong focus on staff development and progression.
Outside of work, Alin enjoys playing football, and plays in a team with other co-workers at weekends. He has also brought a touch of his hospitality background home, where his family love his restaurant-quality battered fish and chips and other homemade meals.
Three words to describe Alin… committed, attentive and organised. These are qualities that have helped him reach where he is today. Demonstrating excellent leadership and communication, Alin encourages staff to upskill and grow, whilst maintaining a proactive attitude.
