At GKTM, we take pride in continually investing in the latest technology, whether that means equipment and machinery, or training, development and software to support our operations.

Over the last few weeks, we have been educating our staff on the basics of AI and how to use this emerging technology safely and responsibly, with compliance remaining a top priority. We are also exploring how AI can help us streamline our operations, improve efficiencies and support our teams.

While we're embracing new technology, we won't be replacing the people behind GKTM. Our operations will remain firmly human-led.

Our commitment to supporting our local community continues!

We're delighted to share our recent partnership with Blakestown & Mountview Neighbourhood Youth Project, a specialised, community based youth project working with 9-13 year olds and their families.

Our team worked closely with the NYP Blanch to organise a day out for two groups of 14 children at Emerald Park. After enjoying some sweet treats dropped off by our team at their fantastic community space, the children got the chance to burn off some energy and enjoy a fun day out!

Car park line marking recently completed for Crown in Bray, Co. Wicklow. Our work included removing the existing markings and giving the car park a fresh new look, complete with clearly labelled allocated spaces.

Our road marking division has been booked and busy this summer, completing projects for some of Ireland's leading organisations. Backed by the operational expertise of our team and some of the industry's top talent, we continue to expand our services and take on more and more projects.

Our fleet of traffic management equipment keeps growing! We have added 14 brand new, vehicle-actuated traffic lights from VMSIE to our nationwide fleet.

Vehicle-actuated systems adjust dynamically to real-time traffic flow, minimising congestion and delays at temporary worksites while maintaining the highest safety standards for operatives and road users.

Designed to make setup safer and easier, these new units reduce manual handling by running on just 2 batteries, while still delivering up to 2 weeks of operation on a full charge. They also feature expanded frequency options, an impressive reach between heads of up to 1km, and full online tracking for real-time signal sequences and battery voltage.

Huge effort from our team over the bank holiday weekend supporting GMC Utilities Group during Uisce Éireann Irish Water's critical repairs to the Ballymore Eustace to Saggart trunk watermain. We deployed a total of 75 operatives on site from Friday right through to Bank Holiday Monday.

Working on the ground across the weekend, our crews delivered road closures, diversions, and active Stop/Go traffic management to minimise disruption for motorists and keep on-site workers secure.

A massive thank you to all our site teams and supervisors who put in the hard hours over the bank holiday to ensure public safety and seamlessly deliver a job of this size. Outstanding work all around!

We had a great time this weekend at our annual Summer Staff BBQ! It was wonderful to celebrate the team's hard work, which has led to yet another fantastic first half of the year, full of growth and new opportunities.

We’d like to once again thank our hardworking team for all their efforts and dedication. It's the energy we need to keep up the momentum through the summer and into the rest of the year.
