We have been working hard over the past 18 months on this new product and we are pleased to introduce the LAGGAN RF1700 single ridge heavy-duty bedtilling system.
This machine is used to cultivate preformed ridges before the destoning operation takes place before planting root crops such as potatoes and carrots etc. The machine has a market leading ability to cultivate various soil types with a high concentration of stones or rocks etc.
The main unique features of this machine are
-The bedtiller has an innovative Flexi-Drive system which is superior to any bedtiller on the market in handling shock loads in the event of the blades striking a solid stone or rock in the preformed ridge.
- The bed tiller has a unique in-frame floating rotavator design and large diameter rotor which allows the rotavator to work deep in the preformed ridge, this floating rotavator design also enables the rotavator compliance in the event of the blades striking a large stone or rock as its able to ride up and over the solid object independently to the tractor or ridger legs.
- Available with High Clearance Auto Reset (HC-AR) Ridger Legs for added machine protection when working in stony soil conditions.
