At JMC Electrics, we specialise in delivering electrical installations for data centre projects across Europe. With a growing portfolio and strong pipeline of work, we are expanding our commercial team and looking for a talented Electrical Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join us.

This is a key position within the business, supporting project delivery from tender through to final account on major data centre projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring cost control, accuracy, and commercial success across multiple live and upcoming projects.

๐Ÿ”ด Prepare detailed electrical estimates and tenders for data centre projects
๐Ÿ”ด Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
๐Ÿ”ด Carry out accurate take-offs and cost planning
๐Ÿ”ด Source and negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors
๐Ÿ”ด Manage project budgets, valuations, and variations
๐Ÿ”ด Track costs and provide regular financial reporting
๐Ÿ”ด Identify commercial risks and opportunities
๐Ÿ”ด Work closely with project, engineering, and site teams across Europe

โšช Proven experience in electrical estimation and/or quantity surveying
โšช Experience working on large-scale commercial or data centre projects (preferred)
โšช Strong knowledge of electrical systems and installations
โšช Excellent commercial awareness and cost management skills
โšช Proficiency in Excel and estimating software
โšช Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

JMC weโ€™re delighted to have taken home top spot at the recent Kirby Way Golf Classic in Portumna GC โ›ณ

A fantastic day on the course, expertly hosted by Kirby Group Engineering thank you for the warm hospitality and for bringing together such a brilliant mix of partners and peers. Events like this are a great reminder that strong relationships are built both in and out of the office.

Huge credit to the JMC team for a superb performance, some impressive shots and steady nerves when it counted most!

Two members of our team were recently acknowledged by JMC Site Manager Benny Carvill for their high standards on site, particularly their excellent barrier set up and detailed paperwork.

Attention to detail, strong safety awareness and maintaining accurate documentation all play an important role in ensuring our projects are delivered safely and efficiently.

โ˜•๐Ÿ’› This week, the JMC team took some time to come together for a coffee morning in the office to support Mental Health Awareness.

It was a great opportunity to catch up, take a moment away from the day-to-day, and recognise the importance of supporting mental health and wellbeing, both in and outside the workplace.

As part of this, JMC will also be making a donation to Pieta House to help support the vital work they continue to do for those in need ahead of their Darkness into Light event this weekend.

Last week, the JMC team laced up the boots and took to the pitch for the Powergate London Charity 5-a-Side Tournament ๐Ÿ™Œ

All for two fantastic causes, Mates in Mind ๐Ÿ’™ and Ealing Foodbank ๐Ÿงก

This brilliant event organised by Mace brought together great teams, great energy and even better craic!

Recently, our team on the data centre project in Sweden carried out a toolbox talk focused on the safe use of power tools, alongside reinforcing our spotter safety practices on site.

These sessions are an important part of our commitment to maintaining a strong safety culture, ensuring all staff are informed, aware and working safely at all times.

A big thank you to Jones Regional Safety Director, Rory Oโ€™Connor, for his involvement and support in delivering the talk alongside our team.
