I had profound, life affirming experience on Sunday morning, being looked after by Ms McElnea's team in UCHG.
I think I had about six people dealing directly with me (along with the dozens of others working around us) on the way from prep, to anaesthesia ,then recovery and discharge and I really can't express how much their kindness and professionalism helped me at every single step.
I'm just dizzy with relief and joy over the experience.... and I'll be coming back to do it again in a few weeks or months once this first eye heals! ❤️
