לאור התקופה האחרונה, ובייחוד לאחר יום הזכרון, בחרתי לשתף פרוייקט עם קצת נגיעות של רוח. העבודה נעשתה במהלך המלחמה, תוך כדי המילואים, בכל רגע פנוי בין פעילות למשמרת.
פרוייקט מיוחד במינו
עץ חיים זה נבנה עבור ספר תורה לעילוי נשמת סבו של חבר יקר.
משפחתו ,המתגוררת באוסטרליה, פנו אלי לאחר שלא מצאו עץ חיים בעיצוב המוצא חן בעיניהם. לאחר חיפושים ממשוכים הם הגיעו למסקנה שכל השוק מציע מוצרים דומים, והם חיפשו משהו קצת שונה, פחות ראוותני ושיותר משדר מלאכת יד, אך בכל זאת משמר כבוד ואלגנטיות.
לאחר תהליך ארוך של עיצוב ובחירת חומרים החלטנו ללכת על שילוב של עץ אגוז אמריקאי עם נגיעות פליז מוברש, שני חומרים שלטעמי מהווים שילוב מדוייק.
עץ החיים מורכב מ 35 חלקים שונים וייחודיים, כולם מיוצרים בעבודת יד על ידי מגוון טכניקות שונות ומוגמרות בדיוק רב כדי לתת מוצר ברמת גימור גבוהה וייחודית.
This torah scroll was hand crafted in the memory of my good friend’s grandfather.
His family, who live In Australia reached out to me after they could not find a tree of life in a design they liked. After extensive searches, they came to the conclusion that the entire market offers similar products, and they were looking for something a little different, less ostentatious and more hand-crafted, but still preserving dignity and elegance.
After a long process of designing and choosing materials, we decided to go for a combination of American walnut wood with touches of brushed brass, two materials that in my opinion are a winning combination.
The tree of life consists of 35! Different and unique parts, all made by hand using a variety of techniques, and finished with great precision to give a product with a high and unique level of finish.
