Shalom my Dear friends
Our great Rabbi Yoshiahou Pinto wanted me to enlighten people with what I going on in Maroco these days with our new and thriving Jewish community.
For the record ,2000 years moroco has had a very strong Jewish presence and culture that became a wellspring of writings and teachings that enlighten the world till this day …
In the past Few years Shuva Israel Moroco has been working very hard to reestablish this presence and life back in moroco again .
We have been involved for a few years watching in awe from Israel how Rabbi Yoshiahou Pinto is doing everything he could to reinstate the jewish presence in moroco .
our parents are originally from moroco making it almost a duty for us to save this jewish heritage.
tremendous history ,teachings and holy sites awaiting their resurrection and restoring of holy sites .
This past year my familly and I among another 7 families have moved to Rabat moroco to encourage and be part of this mission to bring back Torah and traditions to its holy sites .
Especially with the new alliance with Israel Morocco has opened his doors to all Jewish ppl to come and visite the country freely . This year there were more than 300 000 visitors just from Israel !they come to visite Moroco .
Unfortunately kosher food is not properly regulated due to the lack of Jewish manpower to make it happen like everywhere else in the world …..
- [ ] the past year we have managed to open a yeshiva with over 30 students learning full time the trades of the Torah such as Shechita / scribes and much more
- [ ] Seminary for girls from age 18 and over
- [ ] Children’s school up to the age of 12 years old
- [ ] Soup kitchen and free Shabbat accommodations for travelers that are passing through
We are looking for a few partners that can take a part in this meaningful and unique mission of bringing back Torah to moroco
