WEICON Rust Removal & Zinc Protection for JCB Earth-Moving Equipment
🔧 Restoration & Corrosion Protection of JCB Excavator Component
We recently carried out rust removal and corrosion protection on a JCB earth-moving machine component, most likely associated with the excavator swing mechanism.
The swing mechanism is a critical assembly located between the undercarriage and the upper rotating house, enabling the excavator’s cab, boom and counterweight assembly to rotate through 360°.

🔹 WEICON Rust Remover Gel – Used to effectively remove existing rust and corrosion.
🔹 WEICON Cleaner S – Used for thorough surface cleaning and degreasing before coating.
🔹 WEICON Zinc Spray Bright Grade – Applied as a protective zinc coating to help prevent further corrosion while the component is in storage.
This application demonstrates how proper surface preparation + corrosion protection can help preserve valuable industrial and heavy-equipment components.
