CLOCK TOWER-Calicut Railway Station (1995)|
Manat Builders has worked on several prestigious projects in and around Kozhikode of which Clocktower of Calicut Railway Station was in 1995 and it stands as one of the land marks of Kozhikode.
We were one of the major contractors of Southern Railways started by my grandfather Sri Manat Appu in the British era and continued by my father Sri Manat Chandran, uncle Sri Manat Radhakrishnan and passed the baton to me.
The present Calicut Railway Station building and Platform No.1 was constructed by my father Sri Manat Chandran during 1960-1961 and I have the fortune of constructing the clock tower on that building to continue the legacy of my Family.
