Linear Loop!!
Yes, you heard it right, It’s a Linear Loop. We are following it so intensively that we forgot how potent and hazardous it is for our ecosystem. In Textile Industries, environmental issues originate during manufacturing and extend to the final product. For example, the textile sector consumes one-tenth of all industrial water to operate plants and clean goods.
Recycled clothes reduce the landfill space. Landfill sites pose a threat to the environment and water supplies. When it rains, water drains through the discarded clothes and picks up hazardous chemicals and bleaches. Textile made from synthetic fibres will not decompose quickly whereas fabrics like wool releases methane, during decomposition and both fibres ultimately cause global warming.
According to the World Bank, textile dyeing is responsible for at least 20% of water pollution. Therefore, there is a dire need for more environmentally friendly, sustainable textiles.
We promote reduction, reuse and recycling of plastic waste to achieve
