We recently launched the Shillong City-Wide EVCI Demand Assessment Report through a vibrant workshop in Shillong, in the presence of Shri D.D. Sangma, IAS, Secretary, Dept. of Transport, Govt. of Meghalaya. His leadership is key to building for the region.

The report, supported by ADB, includes projections for , requirements, policy analysis, business models, total cost of ownership (TCO), and integration—laying a comprehensive roadmap to accelerate in Shillong.

The event brought together government officials, policymakers, local stakeholders, and private sector players, sparking insightful discussions through keynote addresses, panel sessions, and expert presentations on scaling EV adoption and strengthening charging infrastructure.

The event was graced by Hon'ble Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Local Self Governments, Shri M. B. Rajesh, Hon'ble Minister for Ports, Museums, Archaeology and Archives, Shri Kadannappalli Ramachandran & Ms. T. V. Anupama, IAS, Special Secretary, LSGD.

Senior officials from LSGD, District Panchayat Kannur, EMC Kerala, and Kudumbashree also participated. With this distribution, the initiative now totals 600 e-bicycles across Kerala, empowering women to become agents of change.
