Zymolent Biosciences is at the forefront of pioneering novel methods for producing enzymes such as cellulase, pectinase, and amylase by utilizing agricultural wastes. Using the same method, we also produced bioformulations to help plants grow faster, protect crops from pests and diseases, and make the soil more fertile for long-term agriculture.

It was an honour to be invited as a Special Guest of the Government of India for the 77th Republic Day ceremony (2026) through DBT–BIRAC. During the event, we had the privilege of meeting the Honourable Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Science and Technology, and sharing an overview of the work being undertaken at Zymolent.

We also met with the Secretary, DBT, Government of India, and the Managing Director, BIRAC, to discuss the progress of our work on Cellulase Enzyme production for India’s 2G ethanol industry.

The visit was highly encouraging, and the interactions were both engaging and insightful. Their valuable suggestions will significantly support our future planning and commercialization strategy.

Thrilled to announce that our team emerged victorious as the second prize winner (1st Runner Up) at the NRL Clean Energy Hackathon, hosted in collaboration with T-Hub, Hyderabad. It was an exhilarating journey filled with innovation, collaboration, and a shared passion for clean energy solutions. Over the course of the hackathon, we leveraged cutting-edge technologies, brainstormed creative ideas, and worked tirelessly to develop a solution that not only addresses current energy challenges but also paves the way for a sustainable future.

I am incredibly proud of our team's dedication, creativity, and resilience throughout the hackathon. This achievement wouldn't have been possible without the collective effort, expertise, and ingenuity of every team member.

The Top 20 Incubation Startups and Top 25 Pre-Incubation Startups under the North East Entrepreneurship Development Programme (NEEDP) were awarded additional grants during the Northeast Startup Summit held in Guwahati recently.

As per the mandate of the programme, the Top 20 startups in the Incubation batch and the Top 25 startups in the Pre-Incubation batch received grants of Rs. 7 lakhs and Rs. 4 lakhs each. Notably, this grant supplements the Rs. 1 lakh prototype grant for each of the 150 startups in pre-incubation and the Rs. 3 lakh commercialisation grant for each of the 120 startups in the incubation batch.

This additional funding, coupled with the comprehensive support provided through NEEDP, including knowledge sessions, bootcamps and the previously disbursed grants, is expected to accelerate the growth of the startups, assisting them in fulfilling their business needs.
