CAT questions are tricky. They look daunting but still, the questions are special cases where you can find patterns which helps save time by a huge margin. In this video, I'll demonstrate how to find the mean of large numbers especially by showing the type of question that CAT gives to make you nervous. Remember, there's always an easier way, you just need to practice more to see it quick enough. Number theory can get very tricky on the calculation side so you need to take care that you don't make any silly mistakes. Practice, practice, and practice.

Students can solve the CAT problems they are not that tough but solving them fast is the challenge. Your understanding of the concept is a very small part of the effort. After a concept is understood all you require is to practice and improve your time as well as clarity and further usability of a certain concept. The percentage is the most common mathematical concept seen on display in our day-to-day lives. Going to a mall to shop, ever seen the discount tag, it comprises a percentage. Ordered food in a restaurant, the service charge, and taxes are applied as a percentage of the bill. The GDP growth rate of a country is calculated in percentages. Bank pays interest on your savings as a percentage of it. Return on investments is calculated as a percentage. So, it is of utmost importance to understand, what is percentage. I won't bore you with a full-on lecture. So this is an introductory video to quickly understand the basic concept behind percentages from which we'll derive its diverse uses in the upcoming videos.
