The chain of DIPS Institution has carved for itself a commendable position in the sphere of education. Today DIPS has a chain of 31 institutes which include one management institute, one polytechnic, one degree college and B.Ed colleges along with 26 senior secondary and secondary schools, affiliated with C.B.S.E and P.S.E.B. DIPS schools and colleges, studded with the best talented faculty, are
sowing the seeds of security in our young scholars. Time to time observations and appraisals of our teachers help us to cater to the needs of the students in an efficient manner. We have created the world class infrastructure and introduced smart class system along with well-equpped libraries, science labs and language labs. DERDB Board is a cutting edge difference to the conventional evaluation techniques. The board has been exclusively set up to provide students assignments and projects exclusively prepared by the subject advisers. Quality control and value enhancement is generally regarded as the accepted aim of education, and our endeavour is to ensure it. To help all these aspirations blossom into reality, we have been paying special attention to the creation of the best possible infrastructure in our institutions. Apart from sprawling campuses and state of the art buildings, we have introduced the latest and the most modern technology to facilitate teaching and learning. We have well equipped Labs for all science subjects. Well stocked libraries, Smart Classes and Language Labs are the other salient features of our system. Jaswinder Kaur, wife of our respected Chairman is looking after the affairs of this school. DIPS School at Haryana Bhunga, in Distt. Hoshiarpur, coming up in the session 2013 – 14, will be another feather in the glorious cap of “Chain of DIPS Institutions”. It will follow the CBSE Curriculum and shall provide the International level of education. Another Mega Project on a sprawling campus of 40 acres is in the pipeline and will be coming up in the session 2014 – 15. This project, when completed, shall be the pride and honour of Punjab. To maintain high standards and to achieve excellence we have the DIPS Educational Research and Developmental Board (DERDB) consisting of highly educated, exceptionally talented and dedicated members. Regualar Seminars, Workshops and Teacher Training Programmes are organized by the Board to make our teachers suited to the exacting duties that they perform. The Board also conducts Talent Search Competitions and Scholarships are awarded to the star performers. Our achievements support our claims because facts speak louder than words. In the session 2011-12 our Polytechnic at Rarha Mor (near Tanda) in Distt. Hoshiarpur, bagged the first three positions in Electronics and Communication in the annual examination conducted by the PSBTE and IT. In computer Science and Engineering our student stood 2nd in Punjab. Students of DIPS IMT, Jalandhar secured the 2nd and 3rd position in IT in the PTU exams. Our students from DIPS College Dhilwan participated in the GNDU Youth Festival and got 2nd position in dabate, photography and flower arrangement. DIPS College of Education, Rarha Mor, secured the 1st and 2nd positions in Computer Education in the PU Zonal Youth Festival. Our student Gurnoor Kaur was placed at 16th rank in the PMT and she was topper in Jalandhar. In the NSTSE Examination conducted by Unified Council, our student secured 64th rank. In sports also the Chain has carved a place of honour. In the recently held Sahodya volleyball championship, boy’s team of DIPS Begowal stood second and the girl’s team of DIPS Dhilwan stood third. In the CBSE National Athletic Meet, DIPS Nurmahal won the silver medal in discus throw. Three of our students represented Jalandhar Distt. in the under- 19 Junior State Hand Ball championship held at Sant Baba Bhag Singh institutions, DIPS Nurmahal bagged the gold and silver medals in discus throw. To cap this all, our Chain has won 10 gold, 9 silver and 9 Bronze medals in the Sahodya Taekwondo Championship. Chairman, Chain of DIPS Institutions S.
