Linux networking commands are used extensively to inspect, analyze, maintain and troubleshoot the network connected to the system.

Top 5 Linux networking commands according to me:
1) ping: It tests the reachability of a host on the internet protocol network
Syntax : ping ipaddress/hostaddress

2) ifconfig: It is used to view and change the configuration of network interfaces.
Syntax : ifconfg --option --interface

3) traceroute: It is used for network diagnostics. It traces the data packets' path from source to destination.
Syntax : traceroute --option --hostaddress

4) nslookup: It helps users to find out the corresponding IP addresses or domain name system
Syntax: nsllokup hostserver

5) netstat: It displays various network-related information such as network connections, routing tables, etc.
Syntax : netstat --options
