GENII’s development process involves systematically utilization of state-of-the-art knowledge and expertise gained from research toward the production of useful materials, devices, systems, recycle the waste, creation of energy from sustainable source or methods and includes design & development of prototypes to help mass-scale production. GENII is a major promoter of Renewable Energy in Urban, Rural & Remote area applications of Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE) & Rural Electrification Corporation (REC) under Ministry Power, Govt. of India, and is associated with various state and central government project across the country in remote areas of various states such as Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Arunachal Pradesh. A sizeable population live in remote, mountain and hilly areas in various states of our country such as Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Arunachal Pradesh. Many places in these states are far away from availability of conventional electricity, water and basic health facilities as compared to the urban areas. The major reason for the disparity in rural and urban areas is it’s the geographical conditions. It is difficult for the power distribution companies to make the conventional power available to the rural and remote areas due to the geographical challenges like rivers, dense forest, Wildlife etc. More often it is found that the populations of some village(s) are as low as 2-3 households; hence only ‘Solar’ can be made the source of electricity for these remote villages at this junction of time. GENII’s current priority is to provide of basic needs such as electricity, drinking water, sanitation & basic health support to these underprivileged people living in the remote locations. Our strength is our vast experience and our existence in every corner of the state. We are proud to be part of the development activities of these remote and rural areas and will remain active in future with the latest technology. We are delighted to be a part of the development process of the people living in remotest areas of our country such as people living in tribal and remote areas in these states. We certainly believe that electrifying these households is just a beginning and this is going to bring in a lot of changes in their lives which includes right to education, employment, sanitation facilities, and healthcare facilities. It’s worthwhile to note that GENII took the initiative as a part of our social responsibility to help the residents of the aforementioned remote areas to get their Aadhaar allotted to them which in the current conditions is a basic requirement to be a part of any benefit of the government schemes. GENII has commissioned MWs of On-Grid, Off-Grid, Micro & Mini-Grid Solar PV Power Plants in various states and of various capacities across the country. We are proud to be associated in lighting thousands of remote houses in many villages through Remote Villages Electrification Scheme of Government of India under DDUGJY scheme. Major work includes the construction of control room, setting up of Solar Power Plant, Providing Home Lighting Systems, Laying LT Line from Solar Plant, Renewable Energy Power distribution in the Villages, electrical wiring in each house. Remote Village Electrification is done under Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY) by REC, Government of India (GOI). GENII is associated with central and statement government organizations to promote renewable energy through organizing conferences, presentations and local level awareness complaining.
