বঙ্গোপসাগরীয় নিম্নচাপজনিত পরিস্থিতি:

বর্তমানে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ ও সংলগ্ন ঝাড়খণ্ড অঞ্চলের উপর নিম্নচাপটি কেন্দ্রীভূত রয়েছে। এর প্রভাবে আগামী ১৬ আগস্ট পর্যন্ত থেমে থেমে বৃষ্টিপাতের কার্যকলাপ অব্যাহত থাকতে পারে।
বিশেষভাবে উল্লেখযোগ্য, আগামী ২ দিনে সুন্দরবন অঞ্চলে ঘণ্টায় ৪০–৪৫ কিলোমিটার বেগে দমকা হাওয়ার সঙ্গে প্রবল বৃষ্টিপাত হতে পারে।
সুন্দরবন ও সংলগ্ন এলাকায় সতর্কতা অবলম্বন করার পরামর্শ দেওয়া হচ্ছে।
