Responsibilities

Assures quarry’s production levels are maintained safely to schedule.

Closely monitors all areas of production to ensure that extraction and processing work is carried out to the highest standard.

Assists staff on site in responding to any technical or staffing issues that arise.

Alters production in accordance with materials required.

Manages the production process by setting and monitoring performance targets

Maintains up-to-date records to include inventory, inspection systems, checklists and financials.

Keeps abreast of key government health, safety and environmental regulations assuring they are implemented throughout the Quarry.

Conducts regular site inspections to assure compliance

Assesses equipment, orders new materials as required, coordinates with internal and external maintenance to address plant and equipment readiness. Assures that all vehicles on site are maintained to good standard.

Works with direct reports to establish development plans.

Provides continuous coaching, constructive feedback and general work direction.

Issues corrective action as necessary.

Participates in succession planning.

Provides training and development opportunities for staff.

Education / Professional Experience

Previous experience working in a Quarry.

Previous work experience with a union shop is preferred.

Previous use of a planned maintenance system needed.

Experience with screens and crushers are required.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Skills and Specifications

Ability to communicate effectively with and work well with other personnel.

Ability to work a flexible shift which will include days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Must have strong leadership characteristics.

Must be results driven.

Must have high level of integrity and honesty.

Must be able to lead a diverse group of union employees.

Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required.

ESTIMATION ENGINEER:
· Evaluating & Preparing Bill Of Material , tender documents.
· Preparing and evaluating cost analysis with supplier quotation.
· Negotiations with supplier on both technical and commercial aspects of products.
· Searching & Downloading E Tenders from E Portals
· Evaluating tender / Bid documents & schedules
· Preparation of Pre-Qualification of tender documents & pre-bid queries
· Preparation of tender costing
· Evaluate the tenders with Commercial conditions and Technical specifications
· Responsible for timely submission of tenders, follow-up
· Coordinate with engineers, project team, management and client
· Proficient in MS Office, Online Tender Search, Tendering/Procurement Portals
having 2-5 years of experience in tendering
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Word processing and database programs (Microsoft Office)
Critical thinking skills –Estimation engineers use logic and reasoning to identify solutions and create systems to solve problems and improve efficiency
Communication and interpersonal skills: In executing their job, estimation engineers communicate with various stakeholders and also act as interface with the project owners, contractors, project managers, etc. Therefore, it is important that applicants have great communication and relationship building skills
Writing skills – to prepare documents for other engineers or colleagues in other departments
Initiative – when issues arises, design engineers troubleshoot and take a self-motivated approach to solving problems
Teamwork – design engineers generally work with a team of several members, so the ability to work well with colleagues and remain professional is beneficial to creating a successful team environment

1. Should be responsible for handling all the incoming queries in
the form of calls or online/website/social media enquiries etc.,
2. Mail enquires and support have to be handled as well. So email
writing knowledge and etiquette is mandatory.
3. Should report to manager daily with the achieved work and
pending work.
4. All callers information has to be entered into the CRM system
5. Schedule any necessary appointment for site visit.
6. Monitor and review site visit schedules for next day office
appointments.
7. Identify and resolve customer complaints and make sure it is
taken to the responsible team and sorted
8. Retention percentage should be monitored on regular basis.
9. Maximum number of appointments should be given to the sales
executives.

• Plan, estimate, and forecast generating targeted prospect base enquiry, quote daily, weekly from suspect base in BSP.
• To identify, classify, prioritize the Prospect base to plan daily visit approach.
• To plan, estimate conversion ratio for the projected target.
• To follow up quotation and conversion for orders.
• To receive confirmed order from customer and process for ex*****on. To ensure timely ex*****on of orders.
• To plan, estimate, Daily/weekly/and monthly sales and collection in BSP and get it approved from Director
• To plan Sales approach following sales process based on the Prospect classification in the Target group.
• To plan daily market visit to approach prospects based on their potential.
• To plan weekly billing and ensure invoicing performed to submit to client.
• To plan payment schedule as per the order terms and conditions to ensure timely collection.
• To obtain age wise, customer wise outstanding due from accounts on monthly basis to plan collection schedule and ensure the collection as committed.
• To ensure customer feedback on the compliant resolutions
