Meet Iishaan, the Team Co-Lead, and the reason night owls get dragged into morning experiments. An early bird with boundless energy, he’s meticulous in the lab to the point of sometimes overdoing things, but that’s just his way of making sure nothing slips past.

Inquisitive by nature, he’s never shy about looking into everyone’s work and asking the extra questions that spark new angles. Never one to stay quiet, he’s an active voice in every discussion, brimming with ideas that range from clever to completely wild. Extroverted to his core, Iishaan has a way of talking to everyone, keeping the energy up, and laughing things off even when setbacks hit.

Meet Asmi, our Wiki Lead, with a mind that never stops running faster than her words. She’s the kind of person who plans everything down to the smallest detail, but when too many thoughts collide, her explanations come out in bursts that leave everyone both amused and a little lost.

In the lab, she’s either so deep in her zone that nothing can break her focus, or she’s filling the space with quick chatter and sharp jokes that instantly lift the team’s mood. A quiet fixer when things go wrong, she carries quirks like apologizing even when she’s right, or slipping out when it all gets too much. Extroverted, driven, and always full of surprises, Asmi keeps us guessing what she’ll pull off next (especially with the wiki).

Meet Albin, our Team Lead, juggling everything while somehow keeping the chaos stitched together. A night owl through and through, he’s known to work for days on end without sleep, always with a smile that hides just how much weight he’s carrying for the team.

In meetings, he’s laid-back, letting every voice be heard, yet when it comes to decisions, he grounds the team with logic and focus. Messy during crunches, tidy when there’s time, and always approachable, Albin leads not by chasing the spotlight, but by quietly making sure everything holds together.

Meet Nandita, our Design Lead, who thrives on creative problem-solving, often guiding discussions where her ideas set the direction. A perfectionist at heart, she notices the tiniest details most of us would miss, but at the same time can step back and strategize how the bigger picture will be perceived.

Though her main focus is design, she’s equally invested across domains, and her passion for wet lab means she never misses a chance to jump in whenever the opportunity arises. When crunch time hits, she’s often the one pulling off more than expected, balancing pressure with creativity and composure. Whether it’s rethinking strategy, solving problems in a pinch, or spending an unreasonable amount of time obsessing over fonts, Nandita has a way of turning chaos into elegance.

Meet Sattwik, our Dry Lab Lead, whose brain is wired for math but whose presence somehow stretches across the whole team. By day he’s running the models, but by night (quite literally), he becomes the unexpected wet lab rescuer, stepping in when no one else is around.

What makes him stand out isn’t just precision and detail; it’s the way he motivates everyone else to keep going. A conversation with him can turn a stressful night into a lighter one (helped, of course, by his goofy humour and the head massages he’s now infamous for).

Reserved yet dependable, he somehow manages to anchor the team without demanding the spotlight. And while his math mind might keep him grounded, his love for Batman and Gotham makes sure there’s always a bit of comic-book drama in the mix.

Meet Gautam, our Entrepreneurship Lead, whose energy levels could power a whole lab on their own. A risk-taker at heart, he jumps into ideas with infectious enthusiasm and somehow always has an opinion ready to add.

Serious when it counts but usually buzzing with high energy, Gautam keeps discussions lively with sharp wit and quick humor. He’s not the one to fade into the background, whether refining a plan or cracking a joke, he makes sure his presence is felt.

Meet Anjali, our Human Practices Lead, who has a knack for reminding us of the parts of the project that often get overlooked. From biosafety rules to broader responsibilities, she makes sure those aspects don’t slip through the cracks.

Meet Amrik, the Computational Lead, who somehow manages to live in two worlds at once: one of pipettes and plates, and the other of simulations and code no one else can fully decode. A certified night owl, he’s most alive when the clock hits unreasonable hours, typing away with the same intensity he brings when explaining his work (even if half the team zones out by slide three).

Usually easygoing, Amrik’s calm breaks only when he feels strongly about an idea, and when he does, you can bet everyone listens. An idea generator from day one, he’s the kind of teammate who might look laid back, but in reality, he’s the quiet current keeping things moving.
