Ltd.

This remarkable achievement is a result of her dedication, hard work, and outstanding performance throughout the programme. The evaluation and selection was conducted directly by the Samsung team, recognizing exceptional talent and excellence in the field of Artificial Intelligence.

The day was further enriched by an insightful online session by Mr. Tejas Ingale, with Mr. Pushparaj Patel joining the session to mentor and guide participants, offering valuable industry perspectives on analytics and data-driven decision-making.

Participants explored Power BI fundamentals, interactive dashboard creation, KPI development, and data storytelling, applying their learning through hands-on dashboarding exercises and business reporting tasks.

The highlight of the day was an insightful mentor session by Mr. Akash Makwana, Senior Data Scientist specializing in AI, NLP, and Predictive Modelling. Through industry case studies and practical discussions, participants gained valuable insights into analytics workflows, portfolio building, and evolving career opportunities in the AI and data analytics domain.

Participants explored supervised learning techniques, building models using Simple & Multiple Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, and Random Forest, with hands-on implementation on the Breast Cancer dataset. The session emphasized understanding model workflows, training, and evaluation in practical scenarios.

Taking it a step further, participants developed mini predictive systems on new datasets and deployed them using Streamlit, transforming their models into interactive, real-time applications.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology (RAIT), Dr D Y Patil Deemed to be University, in collaboration with the RAIT ACM SIGAI Student Chapter, successfully conducted Day 1 of the Summer Internship Programme 2026, commencing with a formal inauguration that set the stage for an enriching journey into Intelligent Data Analytics.

The ceremony was graced by Principal Dr. Mukesh D. Patil, Head of the Computer Science and Engineering Department Dr. Sangita Chaudhari, along with faculty coordinators Dr. Nilima Dongre and Dr. Ashwini Chavan. The presence of industry expert Mr. Kaiser Momin brought valuable real-world perspective, inspiring participants with insights into Generative AI and its evolving applications.

Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology (RAIT), Dr D Y Patil deemed to be University, in association with the IT Service Management Forum (itSMF) India Chapter, successfully organized the launch of the elective course “Products, Services & IT Service Management (PSITSM)” for Third Year Engineering students, along with the inauguration of the Train-The-Trainer (TTT) Program on 8th May 2026 at RAIT, Navi Mumbai.

The event marked an important milestone in strengthening industry-academia collaboration with the objective of preparing students to become industry-ready professionals through exposure to Product Management, IT Service Management, Governance, Agile practices, and real-world industry perspectives.
