Position: ROV Engineer for Dredging & Desilting

Role Overview: As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in robotics for dredging and desilting, you will play a key role in operating, and optimizing robotic systems used in marine environments. Working closely with our multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the development of innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and improve safety in dredging operations.
Responsibilities:
β’ Operate and maintain robotic dredging and desilting systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
β’ Site Operations & Management.
β’ Maintaining Log Reports for site events/activities.
β’ Collaborate with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement timely solutions.
β’ Conduct field tests and trials to validate the functionality and performance of robotic systems under real-world conditions.
β’ Assist in the design and development of robotic components and subsystems, leveraging your expertise in mechanical engineering principles.
β’ Support the integration of mechanical systems with automation and control systems, working towards seamless operation and enhanced efficiency.
Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
β’ Hands-on experience in operating and maintaining mechanical systems, preferably in a marine or robotics environment.
β’ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues in a fast-paced environment.
β’ Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
β’ Passion for innovation and a desire to contribute to the advancement of robotic technology in the marine industry.
