Need a candidate to work on a novel biomedical device project for our company based in Pune (temporary positions).

Place of work: IIT Powai ( major) and Tata Memorial Hospital
Position: Temporary
Duration : Initially 3 months, but can be extended to 6 months depending on the project progression and performance.
Eligibility : student of Mechanical Engg or Bioengineering background who has a good knowledge of Pressure, Fluid Mechanics, Materials Science, Biomedical engineering.

Ideally MTech or ME student would be a good choice. Stipend will be provided.
Start date : April 2020

The recent article published in the “Hematology and Transfusion International Journal” by Dr Ramanan ( from Pune) on use of multiple Allogenic Stem cells bone marrow transplant on a 13 years old girl diagnosed with Thalassemia major with HIV. The article suggest prolonged suppression of HIV ( probably cure). Well done Dr Ramanan on behalf of iBIO Solutions.

iBIO Solutions always encourage the use of allogenic stem cells over autologous ones. But due to Indian Govt norms it becomes difficult to try allogenic therapies. We are currently involved in designing stem cell therapies for multiple treatments where traditional therapies won’t work.
