KION InMotion | Gemba Walk: From Software to Shopfloor
For the Calculation & Simulation team at KION India, this wasn’t just a visit, it was an opportunity to see the technology they work on come alive in the real world.
At Wilo Mather and Platt Pumps Pvt. Ltd., the team got a first-hand look at how the software and systems they develop support machines in actual production environments. From the Linde Reach Truck and Order Picker to the E30 V5 Forklift, witnessing these machines in action helped connect engineering behind the screen with the realities on the shopfloor.
The experience offered valuable insights into product performance, customer needs and operational challenges, bringing a fresh perspective to how software can contribute to more reliable, efficient and customer-focused solutions.
