What if the solution to India's clean energy transition isn't buried deep underground, but growing in our fields? 🌾🔋

Every year, millions of tonnes of agricultural residues are left underutilised or burned. At Indi Energy, we asked a different question: What if this biomass could power our future?

Here is how we are turning that vision into reality:

What if agricultural waste could power homes? We are bridging the gap between agriculture and advanced technology. By using earth-abundant materials and domestic biowaste, we are building a sustainable energy storage system designed to power residential backup and local mobility.

Waste becomes advanced battery material. Born out of deep material science research at IIT Roorkee, we developed a patented process to transform local biomass into BioBlack™. This high-performance hard carbon serves as the critical anode material for sodium-ion batteries, proving that high-tech performance can be grown sustainably.

Circular economy. Lower dependence. Higher sustainability. True sustainability must be circular. By eliminating critical, imported minerals like lithium, cobalt, and nickel, we shield our energy sector from volatile global markets and geopolitical supply chain risks. This translates into an inherently safe technology with a 25%–30% cost-saving advantage.

Innovation begins with Indian resources. We believe in absolute self-reliance. From developing zero-strain cathodes and patented non-flammable electrolytes to processing local sugarcane bagasse, we are building a completely indigenous, sovereign battery supply chain from the ground up.

That's Desh Ki Battery. An inherently safe, environmentally friendly, and cost-efficient "Common Man’s Battery" designed to survive extreme environments and power India's green transition responsibly.
