was established in the year 2012 with a desire of producing high quality nets in the field of agriculture and building construction. M/s Sona Agrotex is part of the Sona group which is one of the leading manufacturers of HDPE T shirt type bags in India with a yearly production of 4000 tonnes since last 20 yrs. The nets woven in the factory based in Vadodara are entirely made of High Density Polyet

hylene (HDPE) monofilament and tape grade. The yarns are obtained from the extrusion of Polyethylene granules inside our factory. In this way we can guarantee the product quality control during the entire manufacturing process. The HDPE monofilament is the ideal raw material to produce nets with strong resistance to atmospheric agents. In fact, the polyethylene granules are carefully mixed with nor-chemistry based anti-sulphur UV additives granting a high resistance from harmfull UV rays. Our state of the art imported raschel knitting machines are completely automated with HMI controls enabling us to produce highly accurate and error-proof nets. These machines help us in providing our customer with high strength net at very low GSM thus providing a cost effective solution to our customer. Moreover SONA AGROTEX makes regular checks on its raw materials, semi-finished and finished products by mechanical and chemical controls as well as by accelerated hardening tests to verify resistance, elongation and life time. All this allows SONA AGROTEX to issue a certificate of analysis which indicates the high quality of its nets, amply exceeding the minimum conditions required by the current Indian Standard 16008-2012 as well as issuing a guarantee certificate with several years’ validity. Our endeavour is to provide solutions to the farmers problems enabling him to produce a higher yield.
