Heavy rainfall this morning has caused considerable damage in Aragam Gojerpati, affecting several households and severely damaging the PMGSY road connecting the area. The situation has been further aggravated by the absence of an adequate drainage system, resulting in the accumulation and uncontrolled flow of rainwater, which has caused significant damage to the road and surrounding areas.
The local residents of Aragam Gojerpati earnestly appeal to the District Administration, particularly the Hon’ble Deputy Commissioner (DC), to take immediate cognizance of the situation, assess the losses suffered by the affected families, and provide appropriate compensation and necessary assistance to those who have sustained damage.
The residents further urge the administration to undertake immediate repair and restoration of the damaged PMGSY road and ensure the construction of a proper and effective drainage system along and around the PMGSY road to facilitate the safe discharge of rainwater and prevent further damage in the future.
Dr. Gh. Mustafa Khan also appeals to the District Administration to address the concerns of the affected residents on priority and take necessary measures for the restoration of the damaged infrastructure and provision of relief to the affected families.
The residents sincerely hope that the District Administration will treat the matter with due urgency and take prompt and appropriate action in the larger public interest.
The residents look forward to timely intervention, relief, and necessary infrastructural measures from the administration.
