In a significant achievement, Dixit Nayak, a student of third year Civil Engg of Jawahar lal Nehru Govt. Engg. College, Sundernagar has been selected for the prestigious Sansad Bharat Darshan program. This remarkable initiative is offered by Govt. of India, which provides opportunities to meritorious students to visit the esteemed institutions and organizations through an enriching educational tour across the India. The primary objective of the program is to impart exposure to various academic, administrative, cultural, historic, ecological, and corporate centres, instilling in the students a broader vision and enhancing their confidence, thereby nurturing them to become future leaders.

Dixit Nayak, student of Jawahar Lal Nehru Govt. Engg. College, Sundernagar got selected in a team of 21 deserving students, through a written test and personal interview. The selection process was conducted by a panel of educators, including teachers and retired teachers, as well as corporate professionals.
Through the said programme student had a opportunity to visit numerous cities, including New Delhi, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Anand, and Kevadia, where has visited distinguished institutions such as Doordarshan Bhavan, the New Parliament, IIM Ahmedabad, IIT Gandhinagar, ISRO Satellite Centre, Gandhi Ashram, Rashtriya Raksha University, the Statue of Unity, National Forensic Science University, Amul Plant. The student also had also the privilege of interacting with eminent personalities and dignitaries, including the Vice President, Defence Minister and Sports Minister of India.
The interaction had not only contributed to the career growth but had also made significant impact for grooming the personality of the student.
Dr. S.P.Guleria , Director cm principal of the Jawahar lal Nehru Govt. Engg. College, Sundernagar, apprised that the selection of the student on national level has brought laurel to the Institution. Sh. Akshay sood, Director, Technical Education, Vocational and Industrial training, sundernagar congratulated the Institution and student for his selection at the national level.
