Special Seminar on “Technology – Your Friend” Organized at Jeevanbharati School, Surat
On the occasion of National Science Day, a special seminar on the topic “Technology – Your Friend” was organized at Jeevanbharati School, Surat. The objective of the program was to help students develop a positive perspective towards technology and understand its responsible and meaningful use. The entire program was organized by Ami Naik, Director of the Research Lab of the institution.
The keynote speaker for the seminar was Dr. Nehal Shah, an educationist and technology mentor, who delivered an inspiring session guiding students on the responsible and creative use of technology. She explained that technologies such as mobile devices, the internet, and artificial intelligence are playing a crucial role in shaping the future, but their wise and constructive use is essential for true progress.
The seminar also included a special session on Astronomy, conducted by Mr. Prakash Dey, who shared fascinating insights about the universe, planets, and space science with the students.
On this occasion, Mr. Prakash Dey also announced a complimentary one-year membership of the Surat Astronomy Club worth ₹10,000 for Nihal Chauhan, a student of Jeevanbharati School, in recognition of his special achievement.
Additionally, six students from the Research Lab who have achieved success at the state and national levels were honored with trophies and awards by institute’s Alumni Association.
Mr. Mayankbhai Trivedi, Secretary of the institution, also addressed the students and highlighted that such programs help nurture scientific thinking and responsible citizenship among young learners. Principals of different wings of the school were also present at the seminar.
