Life is tough but so are we and so is our aim, to make our vehicle tough enough to bear all the situations. And for that we have worked on the chassis design which provides strength for supporting different components and is integral part of safety system.

We have been working on generative design of the chassis, for that we had used Generative Design feature of the Autodesk Fusion 360 to reduce load and maintain the structural integrity.
Keeping in mind the design restrictions of the competition, we had determined the appropriate dimensions for the chassis.

We had designed a spaceframe truss for the urban concept vehicle. The chassis has been designed to balance the forces evenly and prevent any collapses. The baseframe is capable of withstanding a force of 2200N. The structural simulation were carried out using Autodesk's structural analysis feature. Different design parameters were considered to achieve the right output.

When the time gets tough, the tougher gets going” that’s the spirit presented by the Team BITS in the Future rider: A Shell Eco- marathon challenge by completing the work within the given deadline along side a hectic semester. The team designed an automobile named - ZEUS-2100 with primary focus on augmented driving experience and car performance while solving the modern day problems related to energy crisis, carbon footprint and sustainability.

Experience: the most brutal teacher, but a teacher like no other.

To any organization experienced people are the most valuable, and so were the ex coordinators to Team BITS. Seniors, you were the heart and soul of our team without you the team would not have achieved the success it has achieved.

The whole Team BITS expresses their sincere gratitude for your outstanding efforts in the workplace especially in times of pandemic. We appreciate everything you have done in the past years, the endless hours spent working and the professionalism you have shown has always motivated us. Be it securing 4th position in Shell Eco Marathon 2021: pitch the future,27th rank in Autonomous Programming challenge, making the 1st car in India to run on 100% ethanol(DAKSH), making BITS Pilani’s 1st EV prototype (VIDYUT) . Your hard work and dedication to make every project a success make the whole team proud.

Another hallmark feather added in Team BITS' cap!!

We are excited to share the amazing news that we have secured 4th rank globally in the "Pitch the Future" virtual event organized by Shell EcoMarathon. In the same event, we have also bagged 1st rank in India and 2nd rank in Asia in the category "tracking and reducing CO2 emissions".

These achievements have made our team, college, and India proud. We are charged with even more inspiration to dominate on-track events of Shell to be held in May.
Looking forward to working harder, pursuing our passion for sustainable mobility, and turning our dreams into reality!!
