🤝 A New Milestone in Skill Development!

CIPET: CSTS – Varanasi is pleased to announce the successful signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) on 22 September 2026 at NCL Headquarters, Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh.

The MoU marks the beginning of a CSR-supported, placement-linked skill development training programme for 120 unemployed and underprivileged youth.

✍️ The MoU was signed by Shri Pranat Pal Dubey, Joint Director & Head, CIPET: CSTS – Varanasi, and Shri Rajeev Ranjan, General Manager (CSR), NCL.

The signing ceremony was graced by the presence of Shri Prashant Kumar, Manager (CSR), NCL, and Shri Akshay Khatod, Technical Officer, CIPET: CSTS – Varanasi.

This collaboration aims to empower youth with industry-relevant skills, enhance employability and create sustainable livelihood opportunities.

CIPET sincerely acknowledges the valuable support and cooperation of NCL in advancing this initiative.

As part of **Swachhata Pakhwada 2026**, **CIPET: CSTS, Varanasi** organized **Debate and Painting Competitions** for students on the theme of cleanliness.

The initiative aimed to create awareness about cleanliness and develop a sense of responsibility among students towards maintaining a clean and healthy environment.

स्वच्छता पखवाड़ा 2026 के अंतर्गत सिपेट: सीएसटीएस–वाराणसी में सभी अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों द्वारा स्वच्छता शपथ ग्रहण की गई।

🎓 सिपेट वाराणसी द्वारा करियर काउंसलिंग एवं कौशल विकास जागरूकता कार्यक्रम आयोजित

CIPET Varanasi द्वारा – Sudhakar Mahila Group of Educational Institutions, Varanasi में विद्यार्थियों के लिए Career Counselling एवं Skill Development Awareness Programme आयोजित किया गया।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान विद्यार्थियों को रोजगारोन्मुख कौशल, व्यावहारिक प्रशिक्षण, इंटर्नशिप, CAD/CAM, CNC Technology, Plastics Processing & Testing, Industrial Automation, Plastics Recycling एवं Circular Economy जैसे क्षेत्रों में उपलब्ध प्रशिक्षण एवं करियर अवसरों की जानकारी दी गई।

सिपेट के अधिकारियों ने विद्यार्थियों से संवाद करते हुए शैक्षणिक योग्यता के साथ practical skills, industry-oriented training एवं continuous skill upgradation के महत्व पर बल दिया।

The Independence Day of India was celebrated on 15 August 2026 with great enthusiasm, pride and patriotic fervour at CIPET Varanasi.

Staff members and students of CIPET: Centre for Skilling & Technical Support (CSTS) – Varanasi and CIPET: Plastic Waste Management Centre (PWMC) – Varanasi actively participated in the celebrations, making the occasion truly memorable.

The programme provided an opportunity for the entire CIPET Varanasi family to come together, remember the invaluable sacrifices of our freedom fighters and reaffirm our responsibility towards the progress and prosperity of the nation.
