Three of the most critical issues we face are the need for economic strength and vitality; the need to slow or reverse the effects of global climate change; and the need for affordable, reliable energy. Our economy, our environment, our energy supply – the common thread in all three is energy. For nations and communities to thrive, we must have an affordable, reliable, clean supply of energy. In G
reen Energy Company, we aim and are striving to become leaders in Alternative energy. We believe alternative and renewable energy sources will play a role in meeting future energy demand—how large a role depends on many factors, including advances in technology, public acceptance and economic viability. We know a lot about producing energy. But we've also made it our business to save energy. Energy efficiency is one of our most economical sources of new energy. Imagine this: A reduction of just 5 percent in global energy use would save the equivalent of more than 10 million barrels of oil per day—enough energy to power Australia, Mexico and the United Kingdom. Using energy more efficiently makes sense for many reasons, including:
It reduces carbon emissions. It lowers costs. It conserves the supplies we have. Energy resources are disappearing at an alarming rate. It is possible that in your lifetime we may not have many of the resources used to run many of our everyday appliances and household items that keep living comfortable. What would happen if we did not have the gas available to light our stoves? How would we get to school or work if we did not have gasoline to power our cars/buses? Before we reach to this point we need to transit to Sustainable energy sources that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of the future generations to meet their needs. Sustainable energy sources include all
renewable energy sources, such as tidal power, wind energy, wave power, geothermal energy, hydroelectricity, solar energy, and bioenergy. The world is in need of more sustainable energy. New technologies are being developed and expanding on to aid in preserving the earth and going green. The development of clean, sustainable forms of energy is one of the most challenging issues facing Pakistan. The harnessing of energy from waste, the sun,
water and wind represent real opportunities to meet the energy needs of the Pakistan in a way which respects the
environment.
