Seminar on Applications and Advantages of RTP Pipes Held in Tehran
On the sidelines of the 29th Iran International Oil, Gas, Refining, and Petrochemical Exhibition, a specialized seminar on the applications and advantages of RTP (Reinforced Thermoplastic Pipe) was hosted by Behesht Kavir Ariana Industrial Group at the Parsian Azadi Hotel in Tehran.

Behesht Kavir Ariana Industrial Group proudly participated in the 29th Iran International Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical Exhibition in Tehran, presenting its latest innovative and advanced products to industry professionals and stakeholders.
As Iran’s first manufacturer of specialized composite pipes, the company introduced two groundbreaking products — RTP (Reinforced Thermoplastic Pipe) and GRE (Glass Reinforced Epoxy Pipe) — which quickly drew the attention of engineers, specialists, and visitors at the event.
The new Behesht Kavir Ariana pipes are designed to endure pressures up to 500 psi and temperatures up to 90°C, while offering superior resistance to corrosion and fire. Developed with cutting-edge technology, these products provide reliable solutions for the growing demands of the oil and gas sector, helping to increase operational efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.
Another highlight was the company's high-pressure pipe, capable of withstanding up to 2500 psi and 110°C, offering exceptional durability and strength. This product is ideally suited for harsh industrial environments and marks a significant step forward in enhancing the resilience of Iran’s energy infrastructure.
The exhibition, held from May 7 to 10 at the Tehran International Permanent Fairground, provided an excellent opportunity for domestic companies to showcase their capabilities and engage with global industry experts.

Glass Reinforced Epoxy (GRE) pipes are high-pressure composite pipes specifically engineered for demanding oil, gas, and industrial applications. They are designed to withstand high internal pressures and elevated temperatures, offering excellent mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.
GRE pipes, such as FLOXY® products, are manufactured in compliance with internationally recognized standards, including API 15HR and ISO 14692. Their long-term performance is tested according to ASTM D2992 (Method B), ensuring durability and reliability over a 20-year design life

Reinforced Thermoplastic Pipe (RTP) is a flexible, spoolable composite pipe made of a thermoplastic liner and one or more reinforcement layers (e.g., aramid or glass fibers). Its design allows for coiling, making transport and installation easier and more cost-effective.
RTPs fall into two categories:
1. Disbonded Composite Pipe – layers are not chemically bonded.
2. Bonded Composite Pipe – layers are chemically bonded for added strength.
RTP is widely used in oil, gas, water, and chemical industries due to its light weight, corrosion resistance, and easy installation.
