Durante lo sviluppo dei nostri componenti in ottone a basso tenore di piombo, sottoponiamo i materiali a prove specifiche per valutarne il comportamento nelle diverse condizioni di lavorazione.
Tra queste, l’Ammonia Test espone i componenti per un determinato periodo di tempo a un ambiente ammoniacale, permettendo di evidenziare eventuali criticità legate alle tensioni residue generate durante la lavorazione.
Un test che ci aiuta a comprendere meglio il comportamento del materiale, ottimizzare i parametri di produzione e contribuire all’affidabilità dei nostri componenti nel tempo.

During the development of our low-lead brass components, we subject the materials to specific tests to assess their behaviour under various machining conditions.
Among these, the Ammonia Test exposes the components to an ammonia-rich environment for a specific period of time, enabling us to identify any potential issues linked to residual stresses generated during machining.
This test helps us to better understand the material’s behaviour, optimise production parameters and contribute to the long-term reliability of our components.
