Microscopy with large space-bandwidth products is crucial in diagnostic imaging and clinical practice, especially in the field of histopathology. Among various techniques, **Fourier Ptychography (FP)** stands out for offering both a wide field of view and high-resolution imaging. However, its computational demands are high—enter **Artificial Intelligence** as a game-changer! 🤖

In our latest research, we explore the use of **Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs)** to enhance dual-channel complex FP images of human kidney samples. The results? 🌟 GANs excel in improving biological architectures in the FP domain while maintaining high resolution and clarity of intricate microscopic structures.

Key findings include:
1. **Cross-explainability** – GANs provide robust reconstruction by comparing explanation maps of real and imaginary components, ensuring accurate results without distortions.
2. **Clinical Validation** – A two-step survey with nephrologists confirms the effectiveness of GAN-enhanced images in real clinical workflows.
