CAMPUS DU PARC - Nanterre
Designed in 1971 by Jacques Kalisz and Roger Salem and left derelict for twenty years, the former Nanterre School of Architecture has been reborn as the Campus du Parc, accommodating 4,500 students. The redevelopment retains 80% of the original floor area and incorporates three new sustainable structures made of timber and bamboo, linked by a bioclimatic agora. The complex reconnects with the city and the park through fluid pathways and green spaces.
