🕸 La rete di infrastrutture di ricerca ILGE (Integrated Laboratories for Geosciences and Environment) coinvolge l’Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV), l’Università “Roma Tre” (UniRomaTre), il Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR) e l’Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia e di Geofisica Sperimentale (OGS), integrando diverse discipline delle scienze della Terra, tra cui la vulcanologia sperimentale, la geofisica, la tettonica, il paleomagnetismo, la geochimica, la microscopia, la sedimentologia e le indagini sugli effetti di sito.

🔬 Il programma ILGE TNA/NOA consente l'accesso fisico o remoto alle strutture laboratoriali italiane a soggetti nazionali, europei ed extraeuropei fornendo il supporto logistico, tecnologico e scientifico e la formazione specifica necessaria per utilizzare i servizi forniti dalla struttura. L’accesso ai laboratori è gratuito e il programma ILGE TNA/NOA copre i costi delle attività di accesso fisico (i.e., viaggio, alloggio e sostentamento) o remoto (i.e., spedizione di campioni).

🕸 The ILGE (Integrated Laboratories for Geosciences and Environment) research infrastructure network involves four Italian institutions of excellence: the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV), the “Roma Tre” University (UniRomaTre), the National Research Council (CNR) and the National Institute of Oceanography and Experimental Geophysics (OGS), integrating different disciplines of Earth sciences, including experimental volcanology, geophysics, tectonics, paleomagnetism, geochemistry, microscopy, sedimentology and site effects investigations .

🔬 The ILGE TNA/NOA network allows in-person or remote access to Italian laboratory facilities for national, European, and extra-European individuals providing the logistical, technological, and scientific support and the specific training needed to use the services provided by the facility. The access is free of charge with the ILGE TNA/NOA network covering the costs of physical access activities (i.e., travel, accommodation, and sustenance) or remote service (i.e., sample shipment).

The ILGE network, a part of the MEET project hosted by the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) in collaboration with the University “Roma Tre” (UniRomaTre), the National Research Council (CNR), and the National Institute of Oceanography and Experimental Geophysics (OGS), is offering free-of-charge transnational access (TNA) and national open access (NOA) to equipment from world-class Earth Science research facilities in Italy. TNA activities involve a scientific investigator (hereafter, “user”) conducting scientific work at a research facility located in a country other than the one in which they are affiliated. On the other end, NOA activities are conducted between users and facilities located within the same national territory, but working in different institutions. This webpage provides general information regarding the first call for access to ILGE facilities.
