Understanding thermodynamics is essential in chemical engineering, but fitting everything into two A3 pages is impossible.
So I focused on the fundamentals and turned them into 17 clear points: the First Law, PMM1 and PMM2, the Kelvin–Planck statement, the Carnot cycle, and entropy.

In cryogenic gas abatement systems, this detail can make all the difference.

When CO₂ solidifies before the main solvents condense, part of the emissions can still escape through the vent line.
That’s why real industrial setups often combine several technologies — cryogenic units, molecular sieves, or activated carbon — depending on the impurities to remove.
