A solar system is more than panels and an inverter. Battery connections, communication, settings and proper handover all matter. On this correction job, I reorganized the panel, corrected the battery setup, restored communication and configured the inverter so the owner could monitor the system properly.

They thought they needed another battery—but the battery was already full. The inverter was reading it wrong, so I checked the system and sorted the issue.

They offered to pay for the visit, but I chose to help them at no charge. Glad I could save them from spending on a battery they didn’t need.

Before adding another battery, get your solar system checked.
