The CEO, Eng. Salah Al-Oqbi, reflects on his early beginnings as an employee at the start of his journey, shedding light on the challenges he faced on the road to establishing the chalk factory:
“I started with a salary of 150 JOD… and I considered myself lucky to have found a job that quickly.
The first months were filled with the joy of beginnings, the joy of taking my very first step on my path.
At that time, the minimum wage was 70 JOD, so 150 JOD felt like a real achievement to me.
But after three months, I realized that a good start must be followed by greater ambition… and I began searching for an opportunity that could grow with me.

"بدأت براتب 150 دينار… وكنت شايف حالي محظوظ إني لقيت شغل بهالسرعة.
أول الشهور كانت فرحة البداية، فرحة إني عم بمشي بأول خطوة بطريقي.
وقتها كان الحد الأدنى 70 دينار، فـ150 دينار كانوا إنجاز حقيقي بالنسبة إلي.
بس بعد 3 شهور فهمت إنه البداية الحلوة لازم يتبعها طموح أكبر… وبلشت أدوّر على فرصة جديدة تكبر معي."
