器を迎えるまでの時間が、こんなにも愛おしく感じられることに、あらためて心を動かされました。

「めぐる」の三つ組椀は、注文してすぐ届く器ではありません。
春分の日から数えて“とつきとおか”——十月十日という時間をかけて、少しずつ作られ、お手元へと届きます。

その間、季節ごとに届くお便りで、木地師さんの手で木が挽かれ、塗師さんの手へ渡り、漆が幾重にも重ねられていく様子を知ることができます。

まるで、お腹の中で育つ我が子の成長を見守るように、少しずつ器が“育っていく”時間をともに過ごすことができる。

届く頃には、ただの器ではなく、待つ時間ごと愛着になった、特別な存在になっているのだと思います。

完成した瞬間が終わりではなく、そこから使い手の暮らしの中でまた物語が続いていく。

使いながら艶が深まり、手に馴染み、いつかまた自然へと還っていく。

今回開催中のPOP UPでも、そんな漆の時間や循環の物語を感じていただける展示となっています。

そして今週4月25日（土）もショップオープンしております。

通常はお休みの土曜日ですが、会期中は特別に営業しております。

【NEW】販売開始

「ベアーズウッドスツール」

京都市京北町の山林で、野生の熊によって樹皮を剥がされてしまったクマハギ材の有効活用を目指すベアーズウッドプロジェクト。堤淺吉漆店もその取り組みに共感し、これまでプロジェクトの一員としてクマハギ材に漆を塗って機能性や価値を高め、様々な製品を共に手がけてきました。

今回販売を開始する椅子は、ワークショップや教室など、当社（Und.）3階で日頃から使用されているもの。これまでたくさんの方から「この椅子ほしい」とご要望を頂いてきた人気の椅子。そんな声にお応えし、この度販売を開始致します。

プロジェクトの代表でもある家具職人・吉田木工さんによって作られるこのBWスツール。
座面の下にちょっとした小物が置ける棚板付きで、スタッキングも可能。使わない時は重ねて保管ができます。
また、小さなお子様がお絵描きしたり、おやつを置いたりするのにも便利。木のぬくもりを感じる椅子は、五感を養います。木の命を大切に使う、ベアーズウッドの取り組みや背景もご家族で話して頂けたら嬉しいです。

現在在庫10脚。店頭にて販売致します。

Bears Wood Stool
The Bears Wood Project aims to find new life and value for "Kumahagi" timber—trees in the forests of Keihoku, Kyoto, whose bark has been stripped by wild bears. Resonating with this mission, Tsutsumi Asakichi Urushi has been a proud partner from the start, enhancing the durability and aesthetic of this reclaimed wood with traditional lacquer to create various collaborative products.

We are excited to announce that the stools used daily for workshops and classes on the 3rd floor of our building (Und.) are now available for purchase. In response to the many requests from visitors who have asked, "Where can I get this chair?", we’ve decided to make them available to the public.

いよいよ明日、4月17日(金)より開催いたします。

「漆、めぶく、めぐる　- Urushi Living Cycle -」

漆という素材がもつ“循環”に焦点をあてた本展。
自然から生まれ、人の手を通り、器となり、暮らしへと還っていく——
その流れの中にある時間や関係性に触れていただける展示です。

今回ご一緒するのは、漆とロック株式会社 代表・貝沼 航さん。
漆を“いのちの流れ”として捉え、器とともにその思想を届ける活動を続けています。

代表作である三つ組椀「日月」「水平」や、「めぶく」のプロダクトは、使い手の時間とともに変化し、育っていく器です。
またその背景では、漆の植栽活動が行われており、売上の一部がその循環へと還元されています。

堤淺吉漆店は、素材のはじまりに関わる場所として、
この「めぐる」という思想を共有する場をひらきます。

なぜ漆なのか。
なぜ器をつくるのか。
なぜ今、循環を語るのか。

制作背景や活動のストーリーを通して、
漆の現在地とこれからを、ぜひ体感してください。

「めぐるの匙」

木の漆の良さを真っ直ぐに引き出した

料理や素材本来の美味しさを引き立てる匙

このお匙は、めぐるの椀と同じように、普段、視覚に頼らずに生活している方々とのコラボレーションによって、究極の形を追求されています。

“味わうこと”を追求し、見た目の美しさだけでなく形状や持ちやすさ、口当たりまでもこだわり抜いて制作されています。

サウナの梅湯×堤淺吉漆店

「うるし染め手拭い」

大反響だった漆の湯桶に続く、サウナの梅湯さんとのコラボ商品第２弾。

ウルシのウッドチップで草木染めした手拭いの販売がスタートします。

漆は木の樹液。採取された後、その木の多くは廃棄されてしまいます。

細くて柔らかいことから、これまで木地（素地）としては活用されなかったウルシの木。
堤淺吉漆店は漆屋として、漆の命を頂き、大切に精製しています。漆への感謝を忘れず、伐採されたウルシの木をチップ状にして草木染めに有効活用する取り組みをしています。

今回のコラボ手拭いはその活動の一環。
うるし染めは能登の草木染め専門家「新谷工芸」さんに依頼。鉄焙煎で染めたカーキ色とアルミ焙煎で染めたからし色の2色展開。

ウルシの木の年輪や採取する時の傷、「漆」と「湯」に共通するさんずいをデザインに落とし込み、POPかつオシャレに仕上げました。

Ume-yu Sauna x Tsutsumi Asakichi Urushi Shop
"Urushi-Dyed Tenugui (Japanese Hand Towel)"

Following the hugely successful lacquer bath bucket, this is the second collaborative product with Ume-yu Sauna.

We are now selling tenugui dyed with urushi wood chips.

Urushi is the sap of a tree. After harvesting, much of the tree is discarded.

Urushi wood, being thin and soft, has not been used as a base material until now.

Tsutsumi Asakichi Urushi Shop, as a lacquer shop, carefully processes the life of the urushi, recognizing its importance. Without forgetting our gratitude to urushi, we are working to effectively utilize felled urushi wood chips for plant dyeing.

This collaborative tenugui is part of that effort.

The urushi dyeing was commissioned to Shintani Kogeisha, a plant dyeing specialist in Noto. Available in two colors: khaki dyed with iron roasting and mustard yellow dyed with aluminum roasting.

We incorporated the annual rings of the lacquer tree, the marks left during harvesting, and the water radical common to both the character for "lacquer" (漆) and the character for "hot water" (湯) into the design, resulting in a pop and stylish finish.

従来の金磨きは、当社でも販売している「鯛牙棒」や「メノウ棒」が一般的ですが、鯛の牙は天然物で入手が不安定。これまで販売していたメノウ棒に関しては、制作が出来なくなってしまいました。

そんな中、救世主として登場した玻璃牙。

With a texture like agate and a shape like a sea bream tooth.

A new powder polishing tool is finally launching.

Hariki was jointly developed by a lacquer artist and a glass artist for polishing powder in Kintsugi and Makie.

Traditional gold polishing tools commonly used are the "Sea Bream Tooth Stick" and "Agate Stick" that we also sell, but

Sea bream teeth are natural materials and their availability is unstable. We have been unable to produce the agate sticks we previously sold.

In this situation, Hariki has appeared as a savior.
