A Convoy Radio Frequency Jammer is a specialized technology used to disrupt radio signals across a broad range of frequencies. Its main function is to interfere with all forms of communication that rely on radio waves, such as mobile phone signals, Wi-Fi, and GPS. This technology is crucial for protecting high-profile convoys, like a presidential motorcade, by preventing unauthorized or potentially dangerous communications that could be used to coordinate attacks or track the convoy's movements.

The system consists of multiple Electronic Countermeasure (ECM) jammers, which are strategically placed on various vehicles within the convoy. These jammers emit signals that create a field of interference, effectively blocking any radio communications within the covered area. By distributing these jammers across several vehicles, the convoy ensures a wide coverage area, making it nearly impossible for external signals to pe*****te or disrupt the convoy's secure operations.

When a convoy equipped with this technology passes through an area, the impact on civilian communications is noticeable. Mobile phones and internet connections via cellular networks often become unusable because the jammers are actively blocking these signals. This creates a temporary communication blackout, ensuring that no external communications can interfere with or pose a threat to the convoy, thereby maintaining the safety and security of the individuals being protected.

It is time to take a stand for our future. Today, Sunday, let us fill our churches and make our voices known. If you are dissatisfied with the burdensome Finance Bill 2024 and the MP who voted for it, join us in sending a strong message. Go to any church nearby and spread the word.

Churches have traditionally been centers of community and moral advice, but they have also become ideal locations for money laundering from these leaders. It is time to reclaim our sacred spaces for accountability.

Let's go to church not only to pray but also to denounce any leader who voted for this legislation. Let us demand openness and fairness from those in authority. Together, we can make a difference.

Let's unite this Sunday to show that Kenya's youth will not tolerate draconian laws. Our voices are important, and our actions will define the destiny of our country.

Yesterday was all chaos, and violence from right to left as players in UDA exchanged jabs from the ground, water and air. It was a complete pandemonium, that caught everyone by surprise but took me down the memory lane to the early 2000s.

We would be on a semi-dark dance floor with disco lights on at club Dimples or Coco Savanna in Nakuru dancing to Mr. Googs and Vini Banton, "Na wasee tumetoka Githurai, (Githurai), tumekam kukupa rhymes zingine dry-y fry, tuki-fry whack MCs ka mayai kwa kara-ai, ikiwa zimeshika sema my, oh my!!", then out of nowhere, bottles and chairs would be flying all over, people throwing jabs and kicks' and once the DJ turned the spotlights on, 90% of the people on the dancing floor would be bleeding and the rest nursing broken ribs, arms and legs.

The funniest bit about all this is that once the security took charge of the situation and arrests were made, none of the culprits could tell how the fight started but it just spread from one corner of the dancing floor to the other. The genesis of these kinds of fights was someone grabbing another person's partner on the dancing floor, then the person throws a jab which misses and hits another person who hits another and the whole semi-dark dancing floor catches the flu from that first person's cough. Only the three (The person who's partner was grabbed, the partner and the grabber) knew how the whole fight started.

Now in the case of the UDA Pandemonium, only Riggy G can pin point on the genesis of all that happen-ed (ing), but the rest just found themselves on a political semi-dark dance floor dancing to Peter Kigia's "Reke Tumanwo" and when they heard a commotion at Riggy G's corner during a confrontation between him and Sudi who had disrespectfully grabbed his girl known as the Second in Command, they picked bottles and chairs and started throwing at each other. What we are now left with are politicians bleeding and some nursing broken ribs, arms and legs.

When Indian billionaire Ratanji Tata was asked by the radio presenter in a telephone interview:

Sir, what do you remember when you got the happiest in life?

Ratanji Tata said:
I have gone through four stages of happiness in life, and I finally understood the meaning of true happiness.

The first stage was to accumulate wealth and resources.
But at this stage I didn't get the happiness I wanted.

Then came the second stage of collecting valuables and items.
But I realized that the effect of this thing is also temporary and the luster of precious things does not last long.

Then came the third phase of getting a big project. That was when I had 95% of the diesel supply in India and Africa.
I was also the owner of the largest steel factory in India and Asia.
But even here I did not get the happiness that I had imagined.

The fourth step was when a friend of mine asked me to buy wheelchairs for some disabled children.
About 200 children.
At the behest of my friend, I immediately bought the wheelchairs.

But the friend insisted that I go with him and hand over the wheelchairs to the children. I got ready and went with him.
There I gave these children the wheel chairs with my own hands. I saw a strange glow of happiness on the faces of these children. I saw them all sitting in wheelchairs, moving around and having fun.
It was as if they had reached a picnic spot, where they were sharing a winning gift.

I felt real happiness inside me.

When I decided to leave, one of the kids grabbed my leg.
I tried to slowly release my legs, but the child looked at my face and held my legs tight. I leaned over and asked the child: do you need anything else?

The answer this kid gave me not only shocked me but also completely changed my outlook towards life

This child said:

"I want to remember your face so that when I meet you in heaven, I can recognize you and thank you once again....!!"

Today, our MD and CEO, Eng. (Dr.) Joseph Siror, launched an electric vehicle (EV) charging station at Stima Plaza, Nairobi.

The charging station comprises of a 50 kW DC (1 hour charging time) and a 22 kW AC (2 hour charging time) charger. It is Kenya Power's second EV charging station after a similar one located at the Ruaraka Depot, which hosts the Company's transport section.

To further accelerate uptake, the Company has championed the annual E-mobility Conference, which brings together players in the industry to deliberate on a framework that will promote the sector's growth.
