At first glance the Delta Pro Ultra looks complicated, quite big and in no way a Portable power station.

Did you know that the image you always see are three parts put together?
The top is the inverter, the second is the battery(yes, no ugly wires involved) and finally a stand with wheels.

The stand is strong and so are the wheels, so you do not need to worry about weight causing and damage.

See the images for a better look at each of the three parts mentioned.

The main difference between The Ecoflow Delta Pro Ultra and a traditional solar unit, is portability. You can't move around with the solar unit but you can with the Delta Pro Ultra.

When it comes to cost, the Solar Unit is significantly cheaper because it comes as a whole package(inverter, batteries, solar panels etc).

The Delta Pro Ultra on its own, works quite well but there are no extra batteries or a solar panel that it comes with. So when you are looking to expand, you do need to spend more money for that.

In terms of usability, the Delta Pro Ultra is more user friendly as you do not have to keep reaching out for the manual or box to see what one part does or the other as every single latch has specifications.

Maintenance is also fairly easy with the Delta Pro Ultra as compared to the traditional Solar power unit because of so many parts, so many cables and so many different maintenance requirements.

Both can be used for emergency power backup.

So between the two, the best option depends on an individual's lifestyle and willingness to spend money.

Maybe you cannot be bothered with the DIY that comes with a solar unit, so you opt for the Delta Pro Ultra because you don't mind paying for convenience.

Maybe you like to be hands on reading manuals and pairing parts, then the solar unit is for you.

Reach out to us on either of the two, and if you also do not like the manual labour that comes with setting up your solar unit but still want to keep it cost friendly, we do offer solar installation and maintenance services (both domestic and industrial).

The Ecoflow Delta Pro Ultra was created to withstand a month long power outage.

(Upto 90kWh battery capacity).

For a standard household, that's over 30 days of essential backup power to keep appliances like lights and refrigerators running strong (time may vary).

Stackable and space-saving, it packs comfortably into a garage or utility closet(even though it looks big).

Is not easy to overload* as you can run three kitchen (blender, coffee maker and toaster for instance) appliances simultaneously and it still won't overheat or become noisy(fans).

*Across 30 days using one inverter and no extra batteries, simultaneous equipment running may be compromised.

The Ecoflow batteries that come as separate units look like power stations, but they are not.
Specifically designed for the Delta series that are powerful enough to run a whole household.

Swipe to see the different types.
The visible difference between the EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max Smart Extra Battery and EcoFlow DELTA 2 Smart Extra Battery is that there is a label on the side to help you know.

These are Batteries that are directly attached to their respective power stations.

The attachable batteries are options for the River and River 3 Plus to help expand their capacity.
The River 3 Plus has two options for the batteries depending on your needs. Swipe to see what these three batteries look like.

🔋For the EcoFlow RIVER Extra battery:
- You can double capacity from 288Wh to 576Wh
- EcoFlow RIVER + EXTRA BATTERY = EcoFlow RIVER MAX
🔋For the EcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus Smart Extra Battery:
- You can expand the capacity of the RIVER 3 Plus to up to 858Wh.
- Choose from two extra battery models to fit your needs: EB300 (286Wh) or EB600 (572Wh).

The EcoFlow portable batteries come in different types.
Attachable (River), separate units(Delta) and plug-ins(Glacier).

EcoFlow portable power stations are powered by LiFePO4 batteries. LiFePO4 is an abbreviation of lithium iron phosphate battery chemistry, and it’s also known as LFP.

LFP batteries are a great choice because they require no maintenance and can function for a decade of regular use —or even longer — without diminishing performance.

Unlike traditional Li-ion, LiFePO4 batteries don’t contain cobalt or nickel, making them more ethically sourced and sustainable.

One fun fact about the Ecoflow batteries, is that they are not all limited to the series they best serve. They can even be used to power non Ecoflow products or different Ecoflow products.

Can a Portable Power Station(PPS) Run an Air Conditioner(AC)?

With the high(rising) temperatures and fans not quite cooling spaces, ACs are beginning to be a consideration. However, they do increase electricity costs. You may have wondered if a portable power station could run an AC, so here is some insight:

✅ It’s possible, but the PPS must meet these criteria:
- Output capacity: The PPS must provide at least 20% more power than the AC requires.
- Example: If your AC needs 2,000W, the PPS should deliver at least 2,400W to avoid overload.

- Startup wattage: Consider the extra power needed to start the AC.
- Example: A 10,000 BTU AC with 2,000W running power may need 6,000W during startup.

✅ Understand AC wattage requirements:
- Smaller window AC units (e.g., 5,000 BTU) = ~1,465W.
- Example: Use a PPS rated for at least 1,800W to handle the load.
- Larger central AC systems (e.g., 20,000 BTU) = ~5,860W.
- Example: You’ll need a high-capacity PPS, like the EcoFlow DELTA Pro, which supports such power-hungry appliances.

✅ Key factors when choosing a PPS:
1. Battery capacity: The PPS must store enough energy to run your AC for the required time.
- Example: A 2kWh PPS can run a 1,000W AC for roughly 2 hours.
2. Output: The PPS must match or exceed the AC’s wattage needs.
- Example: If your AC requires 2,500W, the PPS must supply at least this much continuously.
3. Portability:Choose lightweight models with wheels or handles.
- Example: Compact PPS models like the EcoFlow DELTA Series are great for camping trips.
4. Recharge options:Solar panels can keep the PPS running longer outdoors.
- Example: Pair an EcoFlow DELTA Pro with a 400W solar panel for extended use in sunny conditions.

✅ Pro Tip:High-capacity models (like the EcoFlow DELTA Pro) can run even large AC units, making them perfect for home or outdoor cooling needs.

We hope this makes your AC shopping needs easier when pairing with one of our Ecoflow power stations. Or if you already have an AC, this information could be very helpful when deciding which Ecoflow power station to purchase.

Stay cool and powered wherever you go! 🌬️
