Kenya Pipeline Company is proud to be participating in the 7th Regional Research & Innovation Conference 2026, taking place from 20th to 23rd April 2026 at the Edge Convention Centre, Nairobi.

The conference, convened by under the theme “Advancing Energy Affordability and Security in Sustainable Development,” brings together key stakeholders across the energy sector to drive innovation, collaboration, and sustainable growth.
On Day 1, during the Women in Energy Forum, KPC’s General Manager, Strategy and Commercial Services, Zilper Michelle Abong’o, served as a panelist in the conversation circle themed “From Presence to Power: Women Driving Strategy, Influence and Africa’s Future.”

The session was graced by the Chief Guest, Hon. Ruth Nankabirwa Ssentamu, Cabinet Minister, Ministry of Energy & Mineral Development, Uganda, whose presence underscored the importance of regional collaboration in advancing Africa’s energy agenda.

Zilper’s contribution highlighted the critical role of inclusive leadership in shaping resilient energy systems and accelerating Africa’s sustainable energy future.
