Part of every project is a team obsessing over the details you'll never see. Here our architect is using a laser level during a recent site visit.

The project — a 2-bedroom apartment block currently under construction.

A laser level projects a perfectly straight beam of light across a surface, allowing the team to verify that walls, floors, and structural elements are perfectly aligned to design specifications. Catching any discrepancy at this stage is far less costly than discovering it later.

This is the kind of detail-oriented work that happens long before a future homeowner ever turns a key.

Welcome to our series where we look back at 27 years of design, dedication, and spaces that have defined our journey.

We're kicking things off with this low-density residential development. Nine two-bedroom apartments designed around the fundamentals: functional planning, natural ventilation and lighting, and a living environment that serves its residents well. Amenities include a landscaped garden which also works as a children's play area, dedicated parking, and full services including CCTV, MATV, internet, and water storage.

And that staircase? A concrete brise soleil in rich brick red with glass infill — detail that's both practical and stunning.
