We are specialists in outdoor shelter solutions and event management, including mobile luxury camps. We’ve been around for almost 50 years. We are Tarpo.

Our main objective is to protect places, spaces, people and machines from the elements.

A tightly knit family so passionate about helping you deliver a successful event. We take joy in your success and we know you depend on us. So we are here, for your event, like your best friend always is! We’re not bragging about our qualifications and experience because we’ve been around so long

We deal with events so large, there’s only one of us in the world that plans our logistics like we do, performs like we do and smiles like we do. We do events. Outdoor events to be precise. Tents mainly, but we have a few ideas up our sleeves from time to time. For a company that spent years in the tented camp industry, you’d think we’d know what portability and practicality are. You’re right. We do know! Our mobile luxury camping equipment can create the perfect bush wedding, outdoor conference, team building, retreat … and we can accommodate all 400 of you. Tarpo was on ground supporting the Magical Kenya Mountain and Trails Series as it launched its 2026 edition in Tinderet, Nandi County 🇰🇪

The three-day event combined off-road driving, cycling, hiking, and the Tinderet Barngetuny Mountain Run.

Beyond the sport, the series aspires to deliver real impact with over 1,000 projected jobs in tourism and 100 scholarships for local students to gain skills for the hospitality and tourism industry.

This isn't just about breathtaking trails and adrenaline-pumping adventures, it's about transformation. From cultural immersion to competitive sport, this series showcases Kenya's stunning highland landscapes while delivering real economic benefits to local communities.
